Well this week has been a little crazy. Actually so crazy I can't even
believe it.
Tuesday we had leadership council, I know I always express my love for
the Packs but really, I love them so much!! We talked a lot about the
role and characteristics of leaders in the mission, and in the church,
and how over all it's a responsibility of love and service. And we
made goals of how we can better serve the Hermanas in our zone. Also
we talked a lot about our ministries here. President said something I
really liked, "be efficient with time, but effective with people." We
are working now as a zone on having lessons that our short, simple,
and powerful, and remembering that it is not our agenda but the agenda
of the Lord's.
Wednesday we met with some chicos locos... So we were being failed by
everyone. So we said a prayer to Heavenly Father to help us have some
lessons (because we didn't have a ton of work time this week the last
couple of days) and so I called this 19 year old boy from Uruguay that
we had contacted the other day and he was like ya ya we can meet. So
we go to this plaza and he was there with two of his friends smoking
and drinking.. They wanted to invite us to a party with them.. And we
were like .. Hmmm we don't do that lo siento, but we asked them if
they had 15 minutes to hear our message. So we sat down with them and
taught them the Book of Mormon, and they all actually had a lot of
interest, and we have plans to set an appointment with all of them again another day
when they have more time.
Thursday we had zone training.. Well for some reason our elders ( the
zone leaders) told everyone but us what time the meeting started, I
guess they thought we knew.. And we came at the normal time a half
hour late.. Buts it's cool. They waited for us :)
So the big news our friend Dario decided he wanted to be baptized on
Monday (today). And we also found out transfers, and I'm companions
with Hermana Ross again! 1 year later! But that's about it. I have
no time, I'm so sorry. I had to plan this baptism and I still have to
do so much for transfers. But I love you all!
believe it.
