Mi niña is incredible!!!
So this week was pretty crazy. On Tuesday all the trainers had a meeting with pres. and hna Jackson, before we found out our new companions. It was really cool, and they really spoke of the love and confidence they have in us as trainers, but also the responsibility we have, Especially setting an example for obedience.
So in the meeting I was the first to recieve my new companion and she just ran up and hugged me and told me she was hoping that I was her trainer, because she had heard about me from the Lovells in the ccm. So obviously I just loved her from the start. ;)
But Seriously. she is amazing! Her name is Hermana Harper from Washington, and she is so great and has such a great desire to be diligent and obedient. I´m learning so much from her everyday. I think in reality she is training me :)
Also this week has been a week of miracles. We went to having no investigators with baptismal dates to having a few. One of our past investigators (who had moved) called us friday wanting to meet. In our lesson he told us that he is moving back, and wants to make the church a part of his life. We are praying and thinking with him about a date for his baptism. We also are building really strong relationships with the members.
Some fun things this week! We had a really interesting lesson about the Light of Christ that our less-active we visit just kept rambling on about cats. haha she is obsessed, I love her so much. Umm.. It was my companions B-day Friday so we celebrated as a district at dominos :) This couple in our ward taught me and my companion some spanish dancing at our meal appointment sunday. It was so funny. I have so really good videos:)
More than anything else this week I have really felt Heavenly Father answering my prayers. I think the extra responsibility of training has made me learn to rely on him more. I´ve been praying harder than I ever have prayed before in my life, and for the first time in my life, my prayers have completely been directed in the needs of other people. I´ve really been able to see and feel a lot of my answers this week. I know Heavenly Father is here in this work and we could not be doing the things we are doing without him.
Love you all so much!!
