Hey family! This week was really good!
My new compy is Hermana Schriever from Boise. She's a pretty cool cat.
Super chill, and a really hard worker. We get a long great:) one thing
we did together our 2nd day was have and inventory of things we've liked
and hard things in past companion ships and set goals to really work
hard and have a lot of unity. I have no doubts that this companionship
was inspired by God.
Things this week..
1)Transfers.. We're crazy. We were a trio for a day.. It was crazy...
Also feels like a life a go so I don't remember too much.
2) I contacted this less active who we have been trying to meet with
forever!! Long story short, finally she said we could meet, we went on
adventure and a half trying to figure where she lived. In the end we
walked(well hiked, Vigo is a mountain) all over Vigo and never had a
lesson. But the amazing thing was in the process we took this bus(to
the middle of nowhere, but it apparently was a bus we needed to take)
and I just started talking to the bus driver about everything. She is
a young Spanish lady who is study law but is driving buses to bay for
the university and when we got to the stop she passes me her number
and told me she would like to know more about the church. We have a
lesson set up with her for this week. Point of the story. Lots of
times I feel like we have so many plans for the day and they never go
through, but when we are on the lord's errand he will always lead us
to the people he is preparing and he wants to bless. Our ministry as
missionaries amazes me so much, because it is so personal. At the end
of the day we really find and help people on a personal level, and
sometime those we find are few, but those who need it. This is how the
lord works and I know with all the capacity of my being that the
lord's way is so much better than my way. Always.
3) lots of lessons and blessing from Heavenly Father.. Including, it
didn't rain all week!!! Yay!!!!
The work is going good. Heavenly Father is blessing us a lot for the
extra mile we are making to work hard, talk to everyone, and be worthy
representatives of Jesus Christ in all times, things, and places.
