¡Hola mi familia y mis amigos! Well let me just tell you how good this week was... actually I can´t I have no words for how good this week was! It just went by way too fast!
So first good thing, We´ve made friends with this really cute family in our ward, and they fed us a couple times this week. And the father of their family is super great at the guitar and singing. So when ever we go over there we always sing and free-style a little bit. It´s so fun! One of the times this week we went over with the elders, and in our ward there are two missionaries from the states, one from Italy, and one from France, so we were just free-styling in all these different languages and it was probably one of of the funniest experiences of my life. Okay you´re right.. over email it doesn´t sound that cool, but it was! I have video proof you can see in 14 months :)
But let´s get down to the chase.. the REAL reason this week was so good. So we have this investigator who is the bomb. (mom the one who sent you pics of us a couple weeks ago) He has as testimony of literally everything, but he will just never come to church. We´ve been praying and praying and praying some more for what we can do to help him come to church, but he just wouldn´t. He would always says he will, but then won´t show up! And another thing, we´ve been trying to get him a bautismal fetcha for sso long, but he would never commit to one. He always had a billion excuses.
So this week we were in a lesson with him and we were talking about the Plan of Salvation a little bit, just to make sure he understood it. Then I just felt super prompted by the spirit to ask him to get baptized on the 21 of march. So I was a little nervous (because we´ve asked him so many times) but I did. He thought about it for a minute, and then said.. ¨In a month? Ya I think I can do that¨ So then I just about died! But then me and hna Costagliola explained that if he wanted to have this as a goal for himself it´s necessary that he comes to church. We explained ¨You have a testimony of everything, the only thing you are missing is the church, and that´s because you´ve never been.¨ He agreed to come. Well in the morning we called him at 9:30 and he didn´t answer. We went and waited for him at the tranvia, but he didn´t show up. Let me tell you my heart was just about broken. So we sprint to church, because we are late. We walk in and then we another one of our investigators (who told us he wouldn´t come) so we were pumped! We went and sat down by him, and then we looked over and we see our investigator sitting by a man in the ward in the very front. I just started crying (of course, cause I always cry) Like I had NEVER felt a happiness like this before in my life! And even better, he loved the church! He made friends with the members, participated in Sunday School, and I was just in heaven. He even called us later that night to tell us he loves and adores us and said thank you for the opportunity we gave him. So pray for him, that we can help get him to make the covenant of baptism in a little less than a month!
So then that same night we had a lesson with this new investigator, and he failed us. So we were leaving the place where he said he would meet us and this man just comes up and hugs me.. (i about died again because that´s not allowed!) but I looked at him, and it was one of mine and hna reyes´s investigators who had left for a 2 month trip to paris and we hadn´t seen him since. He has a date and everything and was so excited to meet with us again to finish the lessons! I was sooooooooooooooooooooooooo happy!!! ahhh heavenly father is way too good to us.
And finally, we finished the day eating double stuffed oreos and peanut butter for Peve (p-day´s eve) so this week has just been great! Lots of miracles, and I´m so elated with a happiness that i didn't even know existed.
Thanks for all the emails, and I hope you all have the best week!
