Hey family 😊
This week has been so good! It's just weird how they blend so much
together. I always forget everything that has happened by the time I
go to write y'all.
To start Hermana Costagliola went home! She's done with her mission
and is back with her family. I just can't even believe it! But it was
really awesome, because she got to stay with us last Monday night, and
we had one last night together before she left. Man do I love my
Italian, we were up basically all night giggling and laughing about
memories in Santa Cruz. She's incredible that chica.
Also some exciting news. We are teaching a mother and a daughter who
are so solid. We are helping them prepare for baptism hopefully by the
beginning of August. They are so great, but are always traveling
especially on the weekends.. So we will wait patiently and see what
happens.
This week was kind of tough in the sense that we decided to drop a lot
of people that we have been teaching. We just had a lot who really
weren't progressing. And I think as missionaries it's important to
remember that the field is white and ready to harvest. We aren't here
to convince people to be baptized or that the church is true. We are
here for the people the Lord has already been preparing, helping them
feel, and recognize the spirit, and helping prepare them for baptism.
There are so many people who are nice and willing to meet with us, but
just won't progress because they don't keep their reading commitments
and don't come to church. It's heart-breaking leaving people you love,
but I'm ready to harvest the crop more, and plant the seed less. We
are praying that Heavenly Father will help us in our finding efforts
this next week to come.
The coolest thing this week is the woman that me and HNA Pavez helped
reactivate just got called as a primary teacher. She is fully active
with a calling, and I'm just so amazed at her progression, and how the
Lord can change people for the better. She is so happy, and just
radiates with the light of Christ. We are hoping to get her to the
temple soon!
Well I love you all! And I'm so grateful for everyone one of you! Have
a great week😊
